Memorial Weekend Tournament

The 7 NO Club of Miami flew into Columbus Ohio and flew out with over !!!$6,000!!! in prizes. A great time was had by all, we took a van load and a car load to Canton Oh to tour the NFL HALL OF FAME. We had an awesome time. The winnings started in the Friday night straight whist tournament with Lynn and Lynda taking 2nd place and Dana and Johanna (her first tourney) placing 4th. This was a sign of what was to follow on saturday. The Kitty Whist Main Event featured Chris and Alex taking 1st place with a patented "no bid" on the last hand by Alex to bring home the bacon. To cap off the tourneys Gregg and Dave beat the straight whisters at their own game and took the 1st place main event prize. Finishing in 3rd place in that same tournament were Andy from the Club of Champions and Gene from the Cards at Hearts bid whist club of Miami. Kudos to the Columbus Whist Players Society for an awesome time and incredible hospitality. Special thanks goes out to Phyllis and Ambasador Greg for treating us like royalty.
